Each magnetic snap is composed of a male and a female part plus 2 washers. On each part of the magnetic snap, there are 2 prongs. To fix the female, first cut 2 small holes on fabric to allow the prongs go through. Place the washer over the prongs. Bend down the prongs with a ruler or similar device and the female is fixed. Do the same way with the male. To fasten, bring the male and female together. The parts are then snapped like a button by means of magnetic force. No special machine is necessary for operation. (Note: Rectangular washers are for large snaps and round for small ones. Washers may vary a little in shape from shipment to shipment, but it does not affect functioning.) Other colors of magnetic snaps, purse snaps, fasteners, closures, clasps, buttons, locks, such as matt nickel, matt gold, pearl nickel, pearl gold and so on are available in mass production.

Following magnetic purse snaps are with much stronger magnetic force and ultra slim designed. Thickness is 2mm contrary to standard magnetic snaps of 4mm. However, we suggest that the fabric on which these purse snaps are fixed should not be soft such like silk, satin, nylon or similar materials.
